General Refund Principles
- No Cash Refunds: All refunds will be issued as Carnimax credits or, in specific approved cases, to the original payment method (for event bookings, where applicable).
- Validity: Refunds or credits are typically valid for a specified period from the date of issue.
- Discretion: Carnimax reserves the right to make final decisions on all refund requests.
Specific Refund Scenarios
1. Game Card Top-Ups / Credits
- Non-Refundable: Once game card credits are purchased and loaded onto a card, they are strictly non-refundable. This includes unused credits.
- Technical Fault during Game Play: If a game card is tapped and the game does not start due to a technical fault on Carnimax’s equipment, the same amount will be immediately reversed/reloaded to your game card so you can tap it again for the correct game or another game of your choice. Please inform our staff immediately if this occurs.
2. Party & Event Bookings
- Advance Deposits: A non-refundable deposit is typically required to confirm party and event bookings. This deposit secures your date and time.
- Cancellation by Customer:
- More than [X] days notice: If you cancel a confirmed booking with more than [X] days notice before the event date, any payments made beyond the non-refundable deposit may be converted into Carnimax credits or refunded to the original payment method, minus any administrative fees.
- Less than [X] days notice: Cancellations made with less than [X] days notice will generally result in the forfeiture of all payments made.
- No-Shows: If you fail to show up for your booked event without prior notice, all payments will be forfeited.
- Rescheduling: Rescheduling requests are subject to availability and may incur a rescheduling fee if made within a short notice period.
- Cancellation by Carnimax: In the rare event that Carnimax must cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund to your original payment method or full Carnimax credits, whichever you prefer.
3. Food & Beverage Purchases
- Due to hygiene reasons, food and beverage purchases are non-refundable once served, unless there is a confirmed issue with quality or preparation. Please report any concerns immediately to our staff.
4. Promotions & Special Offers
- Refunds for purchases made during promotions or with special offers will be based on the net amount paid after applying discounts. Specific terms of the promotion may apply.
